I was going to post this as my Facebook Status Message but decided against it since I am “Facebook-friends” with a looooot of my officemates and I am pretty sure, I would be ribbed nonstop if they read this so I decided to write it here (and I am thinking very few, if any, of them know of this site.)
When Bong came home from work, he saw the blouses I bought on the bed. (I am actually pretty proud of them because they were picked out by our overly makulit little boy, Jeremy, who was given the assignment of picking out my blouses from amongst those on the racks so he wouldn’t run around like crazy once he got bored while I was shopping.)
Bong: Wow, ang ganda nito (looking at a black blouse). Anong size?
Me: Small
Bong: Ah kasi dun sa malalaki to? (read: plus-size section)
Me: %$^&$@#! sa regular size section galing yan noh!

Touchy ako pag dating sa sizes (kaya mas masaya mag-shop for shoes o household items minsan eh) pero ang awesome idea nung papiliin si little boy ng clothes so he won’t get bored, and mukhang pasado naman taste niya kay Daddy Bong!
haha oo touchy din ako. pero I get the big sizes na agad para di naman kakahiya pag na”under-estimate” ko ang sarili ko. hahaha! kaya pag malaki ang nakuha ko at nanghihingi ako ng mas maliit na size, i feel like doing cartwheels. haha!
it was actually my sister who thought of doing that. Jeremy of course easily gets bored when he knows he doesn’t have anything to do, so to give him responsibility and distract him from making mischief, he was assigned the task of choosing blouses based on the color I prefer. Nakakatuwa because he obviously also had fun getting clothes for me. On some occasions, he would be with me inside the fitting room and he would remark “wow, sexy mama!” ahahahaha! that little boy either needs glasses, or he is just fiercely loyal to his mom. hahaha! Ang siste, after a while, and knowing he has given me a lot of blouses already, he told me, “Tama na yan ha. dami na yan.” hahaha! he acted like a daddy trying to withhold the purse from a gastadora daughter. hahaha!
Funny thing is, while I wouldn’t exactly get the clothes he got if it were up to me, when I was fitting them, I realized they looked nice pala. so I think he inherited his dad’s sense of style

It’s nice to have kids siguro when you do your shopping, magaling sila mambola. i remember my nephew nung bata pa siya. wag lang magtuturo ng expensive toys.
