It’s the start of 2013 and nothing describes the start of the year for me, but hopeful. If you have read my last few posts, you would realize how very few posts I made in 2012 owing to the fact that I became very busy with work and with, well, life. A lot of things happened in 2012, but many of those I failed to chronicle here. The things I was able to, were unfortunately, very painful moments in my life, involving the demise of four people who were dear to me. You know how it is with people…that we usually remember those that hurt us, those that brought immense pain, maybe because it’s harder when one sheds tears of sadness than of happiness. Or maybe it’s just me. I don’t know. But even so, I have always felt that when things have gone rock bottom, the only thing that remains is for them to start going up. So this 2013, that’s what I am, hopeful. Hopeful that there will be more happy moments, more things to celebrate, more good things happening for everyone. This is ironic, though, considering that 2012 was supposedly my year. I was born in the year of the Dragon, anyway. (yeah, I am 36 turning 37 this year. so whut?) But then, maybe things really don’t go according to what year one was born to. Read more
